The Raven Standard equips students with the knowledge, habits of excellence, strong character and a life-long commitment to Community, Faith and Scholarship needed to transform culture. The following three initiatives have launched in the first phase of the Raven Standard program,.
Seminar
The Raven Standard forms students through eight lectures and corresponding workshops to promote personal formation, self-awareness, relationship skills, leadership development and mentorship skills. The pilot course has been completed and the program is entering its second year.
Mentorship program
The Raven Standard Mentorship program launched in the Spring 2022 semester. Student mentors receive training and tools to support students seeking mentorship.
Train the Trainer Professional Development Program
Professional Staff at Benedictine College benefitted from the Raven Standard Train the Trainer program. This new program is designed to invest in the personal and professional development of Benedictine College faculty and staff and to help to scale the reach of the mission of the Raven Standard.
